Historic Saint Joseph Hall | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer | Luisa & Cole

Luisa and Cole’s May wedding at historic Saint Joesph Hall was beyond perfect in so many ways. I first met Luisa over a year ago when I was looking for a wedding day assistant. She became engaged before my 2018 wedding season started and I know enjoyed seeing all the different choices in venues, dresses, florals and palettes. Luisa has amazing attention to detail, so it was no surprise her day was full of gorgeous accents and the most perfect gown (which she totally rocked!) and florals by the amazing Olivia at Urban Contessa.

We started the day capturing details, Luisa’s Marie Gabriel Couture dress, her wedding suite and jewelry. Then our team split and I captured Luisa slipping into her gown, while her handsome groom hung with guys and my second photographer for some portraits. Since we’d had so many rainy wedding days earlier in the year, I had my eye on the radar.. hoping we’d be able to squeeze in as many portraits as possible before a big storm rolled in. And we were lucky enough to capture most of what we needed before prepping for the intimate ceremony, as the first few drops started to fall outside. You’ll see after the ceremony we rode around downtown Indianapolis in style and stopped for some jaw-dropping portraits of the entire wedding party and the happy Mr. and Mrs.

I loved Luisa’s dusty rose and deep navy palette, which was made complete with Urban Contessa’s dainty, whimsical and modern spring bouquets.

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day and I am over the moon excited to see where your lives lead you, Luisa and Cole.

So many blessings on your marriage and life together.

The Historic Ambassador House | Fishers Wedding Photographer | Katie & Chris

Katie reached out in the summer of 2018 to inquire about photographing her and Chris’ wedding at the The Historic Ambassador House & Heritage Gardens and I was immediately smitten with these two! 1. They were IU grads. 2. They’re friends with a past bride and groom (also IU grads!). 3. I hadn’t yet worked at the Ambassador House and was dying to! 4. These two are adorable together! We met at the Sangrita Saloon in Broad Ripple, gushed over wedding plans and it was a match made in heaven.

I love the blue palette Katie and Chris chose as a theme for the day. It was the perfect mix with sky blue bridesmaids gowns, a navy invitation suite and suits for the guys and a pop of color and jewels here and there.

I can’t recommend the Ambassador House enough. There was plenty of space to keep the guys and ladies separate (a must for a couple not seeing each other until the aisle!) and spacious suites for the bride and her ladies to dress in. A tucked away alcove made for the perfect location for Katie’s first look with her father, and some family and wedding party portraits.

All in all, it was a joyful day joining a very sweet, caring and in love duo. I was honored to be a part of the beginning of the rest of your lives. Thank you, Katie and Chris and blessings for many beautiful years together.

This might be the moment, where Katie’s uncle and officiant asked Chris if he would take Katie to be his wedded husband.. Ha! That was just the start of a bit of comedic relief during the ceremony, where Katie also professed her love by promising to always attend Colts games and NEVER attend a Dave Matthews concert.

Regions Tower – JPS Events | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer | Ashlea & Jed

Over the winter I met with Ashlea and Jed to discuss photographing their wedding, and knew immediately this would be one amazing day and that Ashlea was going to be a knock out bride. (As you’ll see, I was right!) Ashlea and Jed currently live in Florida, but she handled planning from afar with ease and by booking the Regions Tower with so many in-house vendors, this day was bound to be perfect.

After having weeks of rain and clouds, Indiana finally showed up for our Florida girl and brought sunshine! (Thank you, Indiana!) The big day started off with preparations in the bridal and groom’s suites at Regions in downtown Indianapolis and ended on the patio with golden light and the traditional sparkler dance.

Check out this preview of Ashlea and Jed’s wedding gallery. I was so honored to be a part of the beginning of their married lives together.

The Hobson Kokomo | Indiana Wedding Photographer | Maisie & Cody

Oh goodness. Where to even start. From the first time Maisie reached out about photographing her wedding day with Cody, I was smitten with her sweet personality. Since Maisie and Cody live a bit more than an hour north of Indianapolis, we chose an in-between location new to both of us (a little college off I-69) for their engagement session. We laughed at the awkwardness of having a camera 12 inches from your faces while snuggling, Maisie smiled from ear to ear while giggling, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching Cody completely captivated with his love.

These two, how they look at each other, and how Maisie melts in Cody’s arms are what little girls dream of. So of course, I was looking forward to their day, but had no idea just how flawless every detail would be.

The Hobson in Kokomo was so well coordinated by the staff and made my job a breeze with their tasteful and spacious space to work in. You’ll see Maisie fit right in, resembling royalty with her ladies in her Blushing Bride gown and her spring florals from the Banner House. I left their day on cloud nine. It was one of those days (and luckily I enjoy many of these) where they say, “enjoy what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life”. Thank you so much, Maisie and Cody and blessings on your marriage!

Indianapolis Arts Garden | Indiana Wedding Photographer | Molly & William

As you will quickly see, Molly and William’s wedding day was one for the books! This couple and their friends and family who stood by their side were so kind, hilarious and so much fun! We started the day with getting ready for the ladies at the bride and groom’s new home in Geist, then traveled to Holy Spirit Catholic Church for an emotional, happy tear filled ceremony. Swung by the family owned and favorite, The Golden Ace Inn, for some party time before portraits around downtown Indianapolis, and finally arrived at the most perfect reception at the Indianapolis Arts Garden.

Molly’s Marie Gabriel Couture gown was the perfect pair with her vibrant florals designed by her friend, Missy Ingalls. I see quite a few bouquets yearly and was astounded by the mix of colors and so many intricate details! DJ Rickey Sayles got the party started like no other and the day wouldn’t have been complete without the coordination of Jillian Zilch with Frame Worthy Events. Seriously, this day was fabulous in every way!

Congratulations Molly and William for your perfect and long-awaited day.

Indiana Landmarks | Indianapolis Wedding Photography | Amy & Bryan

Amy and Bryan’s wedding at the Indiana Landmarks historic venue was one for the books! With lush florals and greenery by Deeply Seeded, a few standout details and Amy’s draw-dropping Marie Gabriel Couture bridal sheath, the day was bold yet simple in the most perfect ways.

This was our first time photographing at the Landmark Hall and Theater and it did not disappoint with high ceilings, stained glass windows and a panoramic view for every guest, no matter where you were through the event!

Congratulations Amy and Bryan ~ We hoped you enjoyed Rome (the perfect honeymoon following this wedding!) and are enjoying your newlywed days.

Sycamore at Mallow Run | Indiana Wedding Photographer | Jenny & Nick

As I wrap up Jenny and Nick’s gallery, I couldn’t not share some more of my favorites! What a perfect day this was celebrating these two, who were full of laughs and had the best time together and with their family and friends.

Sycamore at Mallow Run is a beautiful venue located in Bargersville, Indiana. With the perfect touch of rustic and class, it matched Jenny’s drop dead gorgeous lace dress and delicate blooms.

Thanks so much for having me share your day with you both!

Carmel Wedding Photography | Ashlyn & Zach | Black Iris Estate

I bet most of Indianapolis was hunkered down waiting out that 100% chance of rain – which then promptly turned to snow!? Unusual for Indiana in (almost) April? Or not?!

Well, I kept my eye on it all, but spent the majority of my day with these two Chicago love birds, who married last night at the Black Iris Estate. Ashlyn and her ladies resembled greek goddesses (and check out those beyond gorgeous florals by Accent Floral Design – I was seriously swooning over that staircase), and Zach and his guys were so much fun and hardly took that rain seriously.

I love a group that’s up for anything, so when I said, “hey guys, it’s lightly sleeting outside, not horrible, about 40 degrees – but this might be our only chance for an outdoor photo op..” Everyone was ready to go and they braved the chill like pros. Absolutely a wonderful and enchanting evening spent with these two and their dearest family and friends.

Indianapolis Engagement Session | Sanja & Corey | Indiana Wedding Photographer

This sweet engagement session taken downtown Indianapolis around Monument Circle was exactly what my photographer heart needed! Sanja and Corey are absolutely smitten with each other, and I paused multiple times to just smile at them, because look how darling they are together! I can’t wait to see the details of their June wedding pulled together at The Mill Top in Noblesville – I can already tell it will be a day full of color and pure happiness with these two. Thank you so much Sanja and Corey for having me be a part of your day!

Ps. Take note how perfect a flirty dress like Sanja’s paired with a bold blazer (both Express!) are the perfect touch of elegance and flair. You two are just gorgeous.
