What an awesome day we had for Jessica and John’s August wedding date! Rain was expected most of the day but the skies continued to hold and thank goodness because their garden ceremony was sweet and romantic and the perfect setting.
Thank you so much Jessica and John for having me capture your day. Keep playing, laughing and loving on each other like you do!
What a fabulous black tie affair Kiera and Logan put on! I loved working with these two and am so glad the wedding of your dreams came true. I loved watching Logan’s charm (whoa, garter toss!) and Kiera beaming at her man with that mega-watt smile all day!
Congratulations, Kiera and Logan! Many, many blessings on your life together.

Can we talk about how amazing it was to get back to photographing wedding days?! And on top of that, for our first day back in 2020 to be with Carly and Jesse?! Hands down, one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with. After months of wondering what, if, when and how their wedding day would happen – a beautiful day unfolded for these two with their closest friends and family.
Enjoy a sneak peak from Carly and Jesse’s portraits at The Whittaker Inn, an upscale, tucked-away bed and breakfast in Lafayette, Indiana. Congratulations, you two and many blessings on your marriage!

Brooke and Andrew are MARRIED! What a fabulous day this was, you two. It was a joy to work with you both this last year.
We started Brooke and Andrews wedding day at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel. I always love photographing at Seton and this was a special treat since Andrew’s father is in charge of events for the church! Every detail was perfectly thought out, a simple floral palette of creams and greens with a touch of deep rose (by Eufloric Events) made for an elegant and classic fall look.
I loved the lace open back of Brooke’s gown (by Marie Gabriel Couture) and she was beaming as she prepared to walk down the aisle. This girl is so loved. We had not only a card from her future hubby, but also from her sister, her mom and not to be left out.. a special charm made by her father which contained pieces from both her mother and grandmother’s wedding gowns. It was such a sweet moment.
After the ceremony and portraits around downtown, we ended the day at The Columbia Club, located on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. I love love the Columbia Club and have photographed some favorite weddings here. The First Impression band got the party started with their live music, this group was fabulous!
What a magical day.
Andrew and Brooke, I hope you two enjoyed Cabo and so many blessings on an life together filled with love and laughter.
Enjoy their sneak peek!
Love this timeless wedding suite by Oliver Twist!
Seriously, this bouquet is everything classic wedding!
My jaw dropped when I saw this cake by Classic Cakes (they never disappoint!) and the floral decor again by Eufloric Events! So incredibly gorg!
I had so much fun working with Laura & Rafe! We met last fall over a beer in Carmel and I could tell immediately these two were fun and down to earth. They’d chosen the most perfect and elegant venues in downtown Indianapolis and they did not disappoint!
Even with a mid-October wedding date – we lucked out with a beautiful (even if very windy) and sun-shiny day. It was definitely meant to be. Laura and Rafe opted not have a first look, so when they saw each other in the aisle at Saint Johns – was such a moment. Laura’s smile beamed as she saw Rafe.
I love the navy and raspberry palette Laura and Rafe chose as a theme for the day. The berry deep pink of the bridesmaids dresses, were a bold contrast to the men’s navy suits and both gave the florals from The Empty Vase a sweet pop. Laura’s high neckline gown from Nancy’s Bridal was the cherry on top to the day’s look. As you’ll see, we had no problem finding spots around Indianapolis for portraits to complete the day’s elegant look.
Thank you to Sarah (Plum & Poppy Weddings) and her coordinating crew, who were full of smiles as they assisted throughout the day. You were all a joy to work with. And a big thanks to my associate photographer, Jaclyn, for capturing these church (Saint John the Evangelist) detail and reception images (Eiteljorg Museum) while we knocked out portraits around town!
I’m so happy for you two and know you have an adventurous life ahead. I hope you enjoyed your first adventure to Hawaii!
Many blessings, Laura and Rafe – Enjoy this sneak peak into their day!
I had so much fun working with Maria and Curtis this year. I love learning more about couples, and Maria and Curtis’ love story had me in awe..
“My fiancé’s name is Curtis Reeser, and we have known each other for ages. We dated for a second in high school and have remained best friends for the last nine years. My junior year of college I studied abroad in Spain, and when I came home he asked if he could make me dinner. We’ve been dating ever since (five years in total)! After graduating I moved to Indonesia on scholarship for a year and we made the long-distance thing work. He came and visited, and we spent time in Indonesia and two weeks in Vietnam together. We’ve also been to Spain, France and Canada, and plan to go to Amsterdam and Scotland for our honeymoon. He has a love for coaching, anything Sci-fi/Fantasy and a big hunk of red meat. I’m an avid reader, I love to cook, plan trips and daydream. Our favorite thing to do on a Friday night is make a big meal and drink red wine on the couch together.”
I love so much you two have been able to travel the world together, and you’re only just beginning.
The two planned a huge (huge!) party at Primo, which was founded by and is still owned by Maria’s family – and the party was a hit. Maria has memories of “Saturday mornings as a kid in the kitchen, and grew up roaming the halls in a pink Barbie jeep” and working off and on through high school and college. So you can bet celebrating their love with all their family and friends brought these memories full circle.
Mother Nature gave us a perfect sun-shiny fall day and the pop of color from Deeply Seeded perfected the look.
Maria, not many ladies can pull off a sheath dress (Nancy’s Bridal), and pull it off you did. Simply gorgeous.
For being two who are “camera shy”, this obviously does not apply when you’re together and focused on that connection. I loved working with you two and am so happy I was part of your day. I know these images will represent the day as it was and will last you a lifetime! Enjoy your peek!
Lastly, I can’t wrap this post without mentioning Maria’s knock-out styling by Ova Beauty Bar, Reneu Beauty and Jessica Warwix from JW Salon. Fabulous work, ladies!
Elizabeth and Steven’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing! Simply gorgeous. Bursting with greenery and pops of blush pink and berries, the florals from McNamara Florist completed the perfect soft fall look.
The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club, in Fishers Indiana, provided the perfect backdrop for portraits and a fabulous party overlooking the course. Tall windows in the reception hall kept the party awash with warm light as the sun set. Hands down, this was one of the most elegant reception set-ups I’ve photographed. (Check out the amazing drapery by Wow Factors!)
Elizabeth was calm, so graceful in her gown (Blue House Bridal) and Steven could not have been more dapper in his Dress Blues. What an honor it was to share your day with you both. Thank you both for your service and many blessings on your new life together.
Enjoy their sneak peek!
Torrey and Brad’s engagement and wedding planning was a whirlwind. We met earlier this year to book their late summer wedding and I knew their ceremony would be intimate, with the closest of family and friends. They preferred simplicity and as you’ll see, their wedding day complemented them perfectly.
Torrey and Brad’s smiles for each other are infectious and if you spend even a minute in their presence you’ll know how smitten they are. I was so honored to be a part of the beginning of the rest of their lives!
I love the violet, green and touch of blue palette chosen as a theme for the day (I believe many of the decor details were chosen by Torrey’s fabulous friend, Amy! You rocked it, girl.) It was the perfect mix of whimsical and late summer tones.
This was my second time photographing at the Historic Ambassador House and per usual, it did not disappoint. The Ambassador House offers indoor getting ready rooms, an outdoor ceremony and covered reception space and plenty of little spots around the property for portraits. Thank you to Kristen and her coordinating crew for assisting throughout the day!
It was so obvious through the day these two are incredibly thankful for and respectful of each other – truly meant to be. Enjoy this sneak peak into their day!
Thank you, Torrey and Brad. May you have a lifetime of good days and adventures together.
