Over the winter I met with Ashlea and Jed to discuss photographing their wedding, and knew immediately this would be one amazing day and that Ashlea was going to be a knock out bride. (As you’ll see, I was right!) Ashlea and Jed currently live in Florida, but she handled planning from afar with ease and by booking the Regions Tower with so many in-house vendors, this day was bound to be perfect.
After having weeks of rain and clouds, Indiana finally showed up for our Florida girl and brought sunshine! (Thank you, Indiana!) The big day started off with preparations in the bridal and groom’s suites at Regions in downtown Indianapolis and ended on the patio with golden light and the traditional sparkler dance.
Check out this preview of Ashlea and Jed’s wedding gallery. I was so honored to be a part of the beginning of their married lives together.
The Regions Tower is hands down one of my favorite indoor locations. With three walls of floor to ceiling windows, Ashlea and Jed’s reception was awash in natural light from their first look to sunset.
Oh, how I love the Indianapolis War Memorial! This building is full of character and was quite the pairing with Ashlea’s subdued pink palette.
Stunning florals, yellow and rose gold touches and sparkly lace linens added flair and romance to this blank slate space.
There was not a dry eye during the evening toasts. Ashlea and Jed are quite the pair, as their family and friends spoke of their kindness and natural ability to love on and care for their dearest friends and family.
Ashlea and Jed, thank you so much for allowing us to take part in your beautiful wedding. It was truly a pleasure to document your day!
