The Mill Top | Noblesville Wedding Photographer | Sanja & Corey

Sanja and Corey’s engagement and wedding planning was a whirlwind. Corey planned the most perfect, romantic and surprising proposal in February of this year. Knowing they didn’t want to wait a day longer than needed to be married – and with Corey being placed for residency in March – wedding planning was put into full drive. ūüôā (As it turns out, the Marchant’s will stay in town for residency and I’m sure their families are totally OK with that!)

We met just a few short months ago on the Monument Circle downtown (also where Corey proposed) and you might remember that blog post because these two are SO smitten and in love with each other. You don’t forget it once you’ve been around them. Sanja and Corey’s smiles for each other are infectious. They light each other up in the most complementing way, and I was so honored to be a part of the beginning of the rest of their lives.

I love the blush and navy palette Sanja and Corey chose as a theme for the day. It was the perfect mix of dainty and bold. Willow and Stars Flowers knocked it out of the ballpark with the florals. (The peonies Рswoon!) I love working with vendors who I know offer a standout service and product.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Mill Top, and it did not disappoint! Mill Top is the perfect mix of industrial and rustic, and boasts floors upon floors of space. Thank you to Hayleigh and her coordinating crew, who were full of smiles as they assisted throughout the day.

I’m not sure I’ve witnessed a more emotional wedding day. It was so obvious through the day that these two are incredibly thankful for and respectful of each other – truly meant to be. Once we had the first look, they were hardly apart for a minute until their last steps of the sparkler farewell.

Thank you, Sanja and Corey and blessings for many beautiful years together.

Enjoy this sneak peak into their day!

Newfields | Luisa & Cole

Meghan Harrison Photography | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Have we mentioned how much we love this beautiful woman?! Luisa reached out earlier in the year when I posted looking for a Details Assistant for our wedding days. As it turns out, she is the perfect fit and I couldn’t have been happier to photograph her and Cole recently at Newfields (formerly Indianapolis Museum of Art).

It was the perfect setting, for a perfect couple. Enjoy!

Golf Club of Indiana | Lizzie & Zach

With Lizzie and Zach just celebrating their one year wedding anniversary, I figured this was an excellent time to re-visit their dreamy June wedding at the Golf Club of Indiana!

Lizzie’s choice of a pale lilac for the bridesmaids dresses matched the timeless bouquets and was perfect with the green backdrop of this golf venue. I was in love with the softness of every detail and how well everything came together!bridal accents and wedding invitations and keepsakes brides shoes and earringsbridal party in robes and dressing bride veil

Did I mention these two have been together since seventh grade?? You can imagine all the notes that were passed with “Zach” and a heart attached over the years. This day truly was about two souls, who’ve known each other during the most important growing years, finally coming together as one.

Nancy’s Bridal Boutique, located in Indianapolis always hits it out of the park with their gowns. Lizzie’s gown was beyond perfection and fit her perfectly!

As always, we had a blast working with the bride and groom’s friends and family! We had no idea just how fun this group would get until later ūüėČ but they were so joyful and truly over the moon for these two.

The Golf Club of Indiana offered the perfect sophisticated space for this wedding. Plenty of grounds for portraits, suites for getting ready and an expansive ball room for dinner and dancing.

Tinker Street Events | Brooke & Chris

Meghan Harrison Photography | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Last summer when I met with Brooke to discuss photographing her wedding, I quickly realized how much I loved her! She was so organized, completely confident in what she envisioned for her special day with Chris, and as you can see below, her wedding day was perfection.

The big day arrived on April 21, 2018 at Tinker House Events in downtown Indianapolis. Indiana weather being completely unpredictable, even in late April we were still experiencing days of chill, and a even snow late Easter week! Thankfully, that Saturday the weather warmed, and though it was a bit cloudy, we got peeks of sun at the most opportune times during the wedding party pictures.

Check out this preview of Chris and Brooke’s wedding gallery. I was so honored to be a part of the beginning of their married lives together, and hope to photograph this beautiful couple again in the future!

The Alexander Hotel is hands down one of my favorite indoor locations. With a west facing wall of windows, colorful decor and architecture, you’re sure to always have beautiful and lively portraits.

Chris and Brooke’s wedding was a more intimate affair and I think Tinker Street Events is the perfect location if that’s your goal. I adored the bridal suite — filled with vintage furniture, bulb lighting and greenery. As you can see, Tinker Street boasts wood accents and funky touches here and there, which gave us so many places for portraits!

Oh, how I love the Indianapolis War Memorial! Our city may be on the smaller side (considering how grand it is) ūüėČ but from the top of the memorial, we have gorgeous city skylines, and incredible details of the building to create unique and timeless wedding photographs. The winds picked up as we photographed the bride and groom, and this made for some fun shots of Brooke’s dress flying behind her beautifully (even if a few stray pieces of hair were collateral – sorry, Brooke!) ūüôā

It’s always great when the wedding party is fun, and let me tell you, the groomsmen were a hoot! The bridal party ladies were relaxed and filled with joy and love for Brooke. There wasn’t a dry eye when Brooke revealed her gown to the ladies, it was simply perfect for this timeless day.

Indianapolis based Black Plate Catering provided tasty heavy appetizers, which kept everyone content for a night of drinks and dancing.
